Job Description:
This senior-level CAD engineer develops and supports EDA tools methodology and process design kit (PDKs) for circuit design team using Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, Magma, Novas and Atrenta software packages.  Collaborating with IC designers, layout engineers and technology development staff, senior CAD engineer is expected to possess necessary programming skill, a strong IC design background and solid knowledge of CAD system administration. Roles and responsibilities include QA, develop, enhance EDA tools and associated PDKs used by engineering community, provide day-to-day technical support to Unix/Linux users, and work closely with EDA software vendors to resolve tool bugs and drive new feature additions.

Job Requirements:
1.    BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
2.    5+ years of relevant experience
3.    Proficient in main stream EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics...
4.    Hands on experience with scripting and software development utilities (C, Perl, SKILL)
5.    Hands on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
6.    Knowledge of CAD system administration tasks
7.    Familiarity with EDA load sharing, network computing utility RTDA
8.    Familiarity with revision control systems CVS, secured FTP, and X-windows programs
9.    Understand device and process modeling flows
10.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
11.  Proficient English
12.  Self-motivated and team oriented
