Job Purpose
To be the expert at certain process area, provide technical leadership for company business success. When delegated, lead a team of engineers from certain function group.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership at certain process steps. When delegated, coordinate and arrange the daily work for a team of engineers align with business need, coach and develop junior engineer’s capability.
Work with other function group and provide leadership to improve yield and %SCOP performance.
Lead the team to use FMEA/CP/DOE/Six Sigma etc as the continuous improvement tools to improve process capability towards zero defects.
Support the success of new product introduction and capacity expansion, follow up with APQP requirements.
Lead the team to improve process quality, address the customer complaints and prevent the recurrence, address top process PPM defects by robust process setup.
Participate in cost reduction initiatives and work for material 2nd sources and localization.
Other responsibility to be assigned based on the business need.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering and Science.
4 years above semiconductor engineering experience.
Work interdependent.
Working Conditions
May need to work on the weekend or on the shift when business need.
