Job Responsibility
To provide technical support/consultant to existing/new customers based on the products being assigned to him/her. Maximize our number of design wins for the products we serve in the region. Other accountable responsibilities includes the close team work with internal customers located in different region of the world, help product marketing or PAE team to do the necessary BOM analysis and gather competitive information from time to time. Absorb new product knowledge thru on job training or participate other training conducted by company or outside seminar/training courses to enhance personal professional technical abilities.
Job Requirement
 Minimum 5 years experiences of product design and development in video related applications such as Surveillance, Digital Photo Framer, DVR or PC TV.
 BSEE/MSEE or engineering background is a must
 Good skill/knowledge to track down key project status. Skills to ask critical questions from customers in order to find valuable information consistently.
 Strong willingness to work as a team player, share the knowledge and experiences with other colleagues.
 Responsible for providing technical support/consultant to assigned customers within a specified geographic area.
 Co-work closely with direct sales force/disti sales team to demo/present our products to customers.
 Conduct product training to direct sales force/disti sales team. Passion to drive new product design wins and ability to influence customer engineers to adopt our solutions via back and forth product demo/introductions.
 Follow up/Keep on track for key design-in and product qualification activities. Communicate customer information with account sales and product marketing folks.
 Convey key customer’s specific product recommendations in terms of features or applications to the appropriate product marketing and product development teams in headquarters.
 Provide recommendations to the PAE groups for needed application notes, white papers, errata sheets and product updates.
 Effectively screen competitor product offerings and provide feedback to marketing, product application, and design engineering teams.
 Monitor/update Design Tracking System (DTS) periodically to ensure the quality of data for all assigned accounts
 Maintain familiarity and comply with corporate policies and procedures relating to standard of business conduct.
 Good skills on people communication or personal relationship is a plus
 Quick response time and bring solutions to react customers’ technical issues and problems.
 Co-work closely with internal/disti sales staffs to win new designs of focus products which meet or exceed revenue growth target at assigned accounts.
 Maintain customer evaluation, design-in and qualification schedules. Communicate this information to the appropriate sales and marketing groups.
 Prepare documentation, notes and technical papers that support Company product customer training and specialized seminars.
