Position: SoC Physical Design Engineer
City: Shanghai/Beijing
Job Description:
You will be working on one of the most complex chips in the world in the state-of-art facility. After well-designed and targeted training, with the mentoring of senior team members, you will focus on physical design aspects of those deep sub-micron chips(40nm/32nm/28nm/etc) including complex chip floor planning, timing closure, place&route, physical verification etc.
Requirements:
 MS in electrical engineering or electronics/computer engineering or telecommunication engineering or computer science in credited graduate school
 Solid understanding of digital logic circuit design
 Good analytical and debugging skills.
 Good in reading and writing English.
 Good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the flexibility. Dedicated, hard working and good team player.
Nice to Have:
 Knowledge of CMOS process and device will be a big plus.
 Working knowledge of hardware description language(HDL) such as Verilog/VHDL will be a big plus
 Practical experience with chip development such as RTL design, function verification, FPGA development, chip physical design will be a strong plus but not required
 Familiar with Unix/Linux environment usage and good at coding(C/C++) and scripting(Perl and TCL) will be a big plus
 Familiar with popular EDA tools such as Synopsys/Cadence/Magma/Mentor will be a plus
