Senior Design Manager
Position Description:
As a senior design manager, you need to have had years hands on
experience in Magma and or Cadence/Synopsys back end and sign off flow.
As the manager of the design team, you will mange multiply projects’
daily activities/ milestones / technical issues and to ensure the
project is running successful. You will also be responsible for ensuring
customer success through various design serve participation and
practices. You would need to report / interface with customer for
project status, and to consult / feedback to customer with any design
implementation difficulty and plans.
Qualifications:
1. 10+ years hands on experiences in one or more of following tools -
DC, Magma Talus / Blast / Hydra, PT-Si, startRC-xt; Calibre, Prime Rail
.. etc
2. Experience in project planning and management with good tracking
records to tapeout 5+ projects from customer netlist hands off to GDS
tapeout.
3. Experience in 90 & 65 nm and or beyond back end design flow and be
familiar with various style of design requirements ie MCMV, mult dynamic
volt domains, hierarchy.
4. Excellent customer interfaces skills - to interact with customer for
any design related issue. Help sales team to solicit and promote the
technical idea, present design implementation flow, and gain good
confidence about team’s capability and thus get design wins.
5. Ability to drive resolution of issues in tools and/or flows
across design automation, IT, and design engineering teams such that the
productivity can be improved.
6. Good written and verbal communication in Mandarins and
English;; Excellent interpersonal and team work skills

Required Education:
Demonstrated leadership experience of a design engineering team is
required. Minimum requirements are: 12 years with with BSEE. or
equivalent; 10 years with MSEE or equivalent; or Ph.D. or equivalent.
