Staff Analog Design Engineer

Duties
?  Analog IC circuit design, simulation and verification
?  Design analog products and blocks such as high current, high voltage DC-DC etc.
?  Design of the switching power IC, Charger, Load switch etc.
?  Evaluation, simulation and analysis of power architectures and circuit topologies
?  Mixed-signal circuit design, verification
?  IC layout including floor planning, DRC, LVS, and LPE
?  Work with application and testing engineers to define optimal characterization and testing solution
?  Work with product definers and product engineers in full product development flow
?  Work with product line to coordinate/lead projects, accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects. Establishing clear directions and set stretching objectives
?  Building and creates strong morale and spirit in his/her team.

Requirements
?  Minimum 5 years direct DC-DC IC design experience, with MSEE or above degree
?  Strong knowledge in analog CMOS and Bipolar IC design
?  Working direct experience with switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, Battery charger,  and their various topologies
?  Theoretical understanding of the power electronics, switching power supply topologies
?  Prior experience with power management related IC design a strong plus
?  Knowledge in analog IC layout
?  Matlab/Simulink/VerilogA or other behavioral simulation expertise a plus
?  Result driven and can effectively dealing with ambiguity
?  Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.
?  Understanding others, picks up the sense of the group in terms of positions, intentions, and needs, what they value and how to motivate the group.

Job Description
1.        Research and development of state-of-the-art analog and mixed-signal circuit systems for automotive, consumer and industrial markets
2.        Participate in analog and mixed-signal IP architecture roadmap development
3.        Participate in all aspects of design cycle, including architecture development, transistor level design, interaction with digital system and software teams, layout supervision, lab characterization, production, marketing and customer support
4.        Develop products to meet the performance targets in timely fashion
Desired Skills and Experience
1.        MSEE/PhD with minimum 5 years of professional experience in analog & mixed signal IC design. A proven record of releasing design to market is preferred
2.        Strong knowledge of analog circuit design, parasitic and noise analysis, CMOS device physics and manufacturing
3.        Strong knowledge and experience in the area of ADC design, especially SAR ADC
4.        Understanding of layout flow and verification checks such as DRC, ERC, LVS
5.        Basic knowledge of signal processing, analog and digital filters
6.        Basic knowledge of key analog blocks and systems, such as (but not limited to) bandgap and biasing circuitry, ADC/DAC, LDO, charge pump, PLL/DLL
7.        Experience with cadence design environment, ocean, Veriloga/Verilog, Matlab/Simulink/MathCAD a plus
8.        Ability to take ownership of the project, work independently with minimal supervision, attention to details resulting in timely and reliable delivery
