This position reports to the Professional Services Principal or the SVP of Global Sales and will be based out of China.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field
• 5 plus years of engineering experience of which at least one year involves intellectual property consulting, business development, applications engineering, technical sales, or product management.
• Experience with engaging with professional clients and a sales aptitude.
• Detailed understanding of the microelectronics industry and the licensing practices within that industry
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required

ADDITIONALLY, here are the following criteria that we will use in determining the candidates that he will interview:
- 10 years of experience
- Experience with Intellectual Property/patents (or at least a proven ability to discuss IP with clients)
- Experience selling to senior executives (we often sell to Chief Technology Officers or VPs) in the high-tech sector.
- The person must be a strong sales person with a track record of building new accounts; they should have experience with accounts in Shanghai, Zhenzhen, and Beijing
- Strong English language skills
- Experience working for a company with a distant (foreign) headquarters.
