Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
•        To work in a team oriented environment developing and supporting embedded system software.
•        To collect and analyze the system requirements from marketing/PAE or customers about our H.264 codec or video decoder applications in Linux/Android system and evaluate technical feasibility, kinds of risks and dependencies. Come up with the system development plan and time schedule.
•        To implement embedded software design, include design document writing, coding, unit test, integration test, to bring up the target board along with HW engineers per defined requirements finally.
•        To fix software issue reported by either internal QA team or external customers.
•        To cooperate with US software team and marketing/PAE team.
•        To provide technical support to China local FAE team.
•        To work closely with other teams to define new features and continue to improve existing software.

Requirements:
•        BSCS or BSEE with 6+ years experience or MSCS or MSEE with 4+ years experience.
•        Must have experience working with Linux or another real-time operating system.
•        Must have solid experience in C programming and debugging skills.
•        Experience with embedded DVR system development is plus.
•        Experience with H.264/MPEG technologies is plus.
•        Excellent team-work spirit and cooperative communication manner.
•        The ability to learn new areas quickly and communication skills in English and Chinese are very important as well.
