Job Purpose
Holds overall responsibility for management of the organization’s technical marketing, support new solution requests (NSRs), design in activities and technical support of product line objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Management
· Drive demand creation within the territory, with emphasis on xx’s solutions and new applications.
· Provide technical marketing support to the sales team to ensure optimization of product mix and margin and help drive revenue growth.
· Identify capability gaps to solve most difficult customer problems and coordinate with FAEs and product lines to close the gaps.
· Analyze new opportunities and provide guidance to sales and FAEs in promotion of corresponding segment.
· Ensure technical messaging and communication supports solution sales.
Planning
· Liaise with sales to develop market segmentation and target customer development strategies.
· Formulate short and long term product and design-in strategy and plans.
· Identify new solutions in line with emerging market trends.
· Provide product development direction and strategy, e.g., to co-develop products with customers for their next generation designs.
· Coordinate with regional GPRC management to ensure design support for regional business plan and priorities.
· Participate in worldwide and/or regional Marketing Council meetings to resolve marketing issues.
Work with
· Internal sales to create channel strategy for specific segments.
· Sales management to ensure the alignment of sales, business marketing, product line and FAEs.
· Application team to drive design-in activities and new solution development.
· Product line and management to align AOP with product strategies and key customer definition
· Conduct training for FAEs, FSEs and distributors
· Support Marcom activities (write technical articles, presentations)
Qualifications
· Bachelor or above of Science in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
· Minimum 8 years working experience as FAE, AE, Business development or Technical marketing role in semiconductor industrial.
· Good command of local language and confident in English writing, presentation and communication skills.
· Must be self-starter capable of conducting assignments independently, reviewing own progress and providing on-going updates to management.
· Able to confidently interface with personnel and all levels of management to meet project goals.
· Proficiency in English and Chinese
