验证和测试有什么区别呢?

Verification:
Software: use EDA like HDL simulation and ATPG to verify HDL and gate function.
Hardware: use different instrument to verify IC function.
Testing:
Actually use tester to testing IC function, DC and Fab process fail..........

Verification is the check that all your input to a product are correct.

You verify that the material, process, and tools are correct and that the output in terms of the defined instructions are also correct.

How do you verify those, with tests!

Now, do not confuse verification and validation.

Verification checks that you are making the product correct.
Validation checks that you are making the correct product.

验证指芯片制造前，设计阶段；测试指芯片流出后，针对硬件。但是现在测试和验证都相融合，为了测试容易，在设计阶段进行有关测试的设计，或针对测试的验证。
