embedded software QA Lead

Location: Beijing

The candidate will interface with globally distributed teams in China, US and Canada. Therefore, good verbal and written communication in English is essential.

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of applicable experience in software quality assurance or development.
• Solid real-time embedded firmware and software testing ability
• C/C++ programming experience required
• Experience in scripting languages (Perl, Python)
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems
• Linux/Unix knowledge is a must.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to define and manage projects.
• Excellent analysis and design skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Independent work ethic to bring tasks to completion
• Experience with source control systems such as ClearCase, CVS and Mercurial

Assets:

• Experience with consumer electronics
• Experience with VxWorks (5.4 and above)
• Working experience on embedded Linux
• Signal processing, including audio/video processing and/or compression, broadcast.
