Job Title:Mechanical Engineer
Report to:Group Manager

Our client is a wholly-owned subsidiary of a well-known multinational in electronic market, a position supported by leadership in innovation combined with a systematic approach to seeking out new market opportunities. The strategic ambition of the company is to set the pace in the lighting industry as the first-choice innovative partner for the supply of creative and cost-effective lighting solutions.
As 1 of the 4 Global R&D Centers of the multinational, our client is now expanding its operation in Shanghai.
Job Description & Requirements:
Main responsibilities:
Mechanical parts design and approval for new models.
New tooling initiate and approval.
Find and release second sources for cost reduction.
Responsible for the inherent quality and environmental requirements of the released components.   
Responsible for the data correctness of Mechanical parts in DS-1 database.
Help develop engineers to choose preferred parts. Reduce PNs for commonality.
Support factory to make solution for important running parts quality problem.
Requirement:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
Good command of English (oral & written)
Two years above of experience in mechanical design, familiar with Auto CAD.
COMPENSATION:
The position compensation will be attractive and negotiable to the right candidate, comprising of a competitive annual base salary supplemented by a performance oriented bonus opportunity.
