SoC Design Specialist

Main Purpose of The Role andKey Responsibilities

• Participate in outlining System-on-Chip     concept and architecture definition and derive the System-on-Chip     functional and design specification for SoC (ASIC/FPGA) functionality     level.
• Analysis of technical feasibility of SoC     concepts and architectures
• Preparation and review of functional and     design specification for SoC (ASIC/FPGA)
• Prove logic functionality and FPGA code     design/implementation.
• Generates block level definitions and     requirements for the design team
• Coding     of SoC functionality form top-level down to block level
• Verification and simulation of needed     functionality on block level
• System emulation and bring-up on FPGA     prototype
• Ensure     effective testing and high quality product delivery by advanced SoC     verification planning, validation and testing on board.
• Prepares and reviews System-on-Chip     development documentations and application documents
• Support HW/SW Bring-up and debug
• Working     as the technical point of contact on the ASIC/FPGA area.

Cooperate with system engineers, HW/SW development,suppliers and other relevant functions to solve technical issues for quality

SoCdevelopment & Methodology

5+ years of SoC (ASIC/FPGA) design     experience

• Excellent VHDL/Verilog knowhow and many     years of coding and modeling experience
• Complete understanding of the SoC     (ASIC/FPGA) design flow and process.
• Knowledge of SoC (ASIC/FPGA) design and     verification tools.

System
Solid background in Cellular networks     and 2G and 3G technology

• A strong background in TDM and Packet     (IP/Ethernet) based telecommunication network solution
• Knowledge of the diverse controller,     power and timing solutions for different telecommunication applications

Experience
5+     years experience in the R&D of Telecommunication Networks or     Communication industry.
Skills
Innovative thinking and team working     spirit.

• Be initiative, ability to analyze and     learn
• Trouble shooting by anticipating of     problems and preparing solutions
• Ability to understand and handle bigger     entities and dependencies between them
• High     team and result orientation are required.
• Client     interfacing, presentation and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Know     how to share knowledge with other colleagues.

Foreign Language:
English Excellent

• Very good speaking and writing skills in     English

SoCPrototyping Specialist

MainPurpose of The Role and Key Responsibilities

• To act as SoC Laboratory     Specialist within SoC team, reporting to BTS SoC team line
       manager.
• Plan, specifying and reporting     laboratory testing
• Set up of laboratory testing     work places for SoC prototyping and qualification
• Test of digital ASICs and     FPGAs according to test specifications,
• Support of laboratory     management like material ordering, maintaining asset lists, maintaining
       working security and ESD guidelines,
• Maintaining test tools by     ordering calibration services or updating test software.
• Understands functional and design     specification for SoC (ASIC/FPGA)
• Specifying the test bench modules and     scripts for verification
• Specifying test cases
• Is responsible for test script development     and maintenance
• Ensures effective testing and high     quality product delivery.
• Report and analyze product's defects

Prepares and reviews System-on-Chip test documentation

• 5+ years of       experience with setting up test places for digital HW and/or SoC   
• Lot of experience with the use of logic analyzers,       high speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and
         microprocessor debugger.   
• Experience to specifying test       documentation   
• Manual       capability in handling of electronic boards (modifications in the LAB)       and preparation of
  LAB       – implementations   
• Experience in       the implementation of digital circuits or boards   
• Experience in       using PCs   
• Knowledge of SoC (ASIC/FPGA)       verification tools.   
• Understanding of the SoC (ASIC/FPGA)       design flow and process.    
• Knowledge of SoC (ASIC/FPGA) design tools

SoCVerification Engineer

Main Purpose of The Role andKey Responsibilities

Works as experienced Verification Engineer     in System on Chip (SoC) development

• Understands and reviews architecture and     functional specification for SoC (ASIC/FPGA)
• Prepares and reviews SoC verification     documents for verification tasks
• Generates the test bench modules and     scripts for verification
• Develops test cases according to test     case definition
• Is responsible for test script     development and maintenance
• Simulates the needed functionality on     Top and Block-Level with Simulation tools
• Ensures effective verification driving     and high quality SoC product delivery
• Report and analyze product's defects and     seize opportunity for improvement

Contribute to SoC team’s continuous efficiency and qualityenhancement

SoCdevelopment & Methodology

2+ years of SoC (ASIC/FPGA) verification     experience

• Very good VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog     knowhow and coding and modeling experience
• Very good knowledge of SoC (ASIC/FPGA)     verification tools, e.g. simulator, Matlab, Emulator
• Good understanding of the SoC     (ASIC/FPGA) design and verification flow and process.

Good understanding of advanced verification methodologies,e.g. VMM, OVM, UVM

SoCVerification Specialist

Main Purpose of The Role andKey Responsibilities

Technically lead SoC verification tasks     in one or multi chip products development

• Define overall verification plan and     strategy, covering complete SoC verification flow
• Understands functional and design     specification for SoC (ASIC/FPGA) and participate review
• Design test bench architecture for high     efficiency, high quality verification environment
• Develop and lead test bench modules and     scripts for verification
• Simulates     the needed functionality on Top-Level and Complex Block-Level
• Ensures effective testing and high     quality product delivery in multi projects
• Seek opportunity for verification     process, methodologies improvement

Drive verification team’s competence and disciplineimprovement
