CPU R&D group in Shanghai is chartered to develop and deliverworld-class high frequency and low power CPUs which are compatible to ARM v7/8ISA, joint-design with Operating System for mobile and server. The group alsodelivers high quality and complete development tools, modeling and optimizationsolutions for Marvell CPUs in Marvell application processors, communicationprocessor, video processors, storage processors, printer processors and etc. Withcompany’s business and R&D expansion in China, we are looking fortalented engineers who would like to join us toexperience the opportunities from Marvell’s rapid growth.

Job Description:

This CPU Performance Modeling Engineerwill be a member of the design team for the next-generation Marvell CPUtargeted for the handheld and embedded server market. The candidate will beresponsible for:

Design and developperformance model of processor and memory sub-system to help making designdecisions.

·
Co-work withdesigners to understand the micro-architectures and do performance verification.

·

Collect benchmarks andperformance data; do performance analysis and figure out bottlenecks.

·

Explorenew/optimized micro-architectures and advanced modeling methodologies.

Qualification:

·
BS/MS/PhD inelectronic engineering/computer science (or equivalent).

·
Solid knowledge of computerarchitecture and digital logic circuit.

·
Experience in cycle accurate processor(or equivalent) modeling, multi-processor is preferred.

·
Good programming and debuggingskills in C/C++, experience in using SystemC is a plus.

·
Strong abstraction skills forhardware behavior.

·
Fluent communicationin both Chinese and English is an advantage.
