DSP Support Engineer (for Audio product)- Based in Chengdu

Job Description:

Provide Applications/Technical support for Embedded Audio DSP products to customers, marketing, sales and the Field Application engineering force.

Work with customer to tune Acoustic Echo Canceller (AEC) performance, Beam forming, AGC and EQ on end product to meet objective or subjective requirements. Diagnose algorithm issues and resolve through configuration and tuning.

Help resolve mechanical issues with customers design by providing objective feedback. Help produce application notes that describe best practices and common issues.

Work with DSP/FW teams to debug and resolve customers reported issues and to provide feedback on future product enhancements or improvements.

Performing competitive analysis, and provide detailed reports to engineering, marketing and sales.

Provide technical training on audio DSP products to the field engineering force and customers.


Job Requirements:

•        BSEE or equivalent and 5+ years experience
•        Knowledge of basic voice signal processing algorithms required
•        Audio end product design or audio DSP experience desirable
•        Experience with tuning echo cancellers, filters or Equalizers is desirable.
•        Familiarity with standard measurement and test equipment like Audio Precision. Experience with testing in an anechoic chamber is an advantage
•        Familiarity with industry standards in VoIP, or any other voice communications standards desirable
•        Ability to work independently and to drive issues to closure.
•        Experience of interfacing to either internal or external customers.
•        Good verbal and written communication skills.
