Position:   Video AE     (System Application Engineer)
Location:  Shanghai
Vacancy:   4
Primary Responsibility:
• Providing a reference design has been a strategy TI uses in select markets to help time to market and enable ease of development to customers.
• Define the specifications and drive the development of value line DVR reference design driven for Chinese market. The engineer should drive requirements, contribute to design and development and work wth internal or external teams for delivering reference design.
• Provide in-depth technical support to key customers/EEs. Initially will focus on DVR/IPNC market segment.
• Influence product roadmap for both silicon, software and provided systems, including the key domains like Linux, Android, Graphics,
• Drive documentation, application notes, collaterals is driving growth
Technical Abilities：
• Embedded Software development experience is a must
• Familiar with Embedded OS, Linux is a must, Android Experience is preferred.
• Familiar with Software Architecture and Video standard specification, have work experience on Digital Signal Processing, Image & Video processing is preferred.
• Video Surveillance, Consumer Electronics, Industrial, or Medial System Knowledge is preferred
• SoC (Davinci , OMAP Family) Knowledge is optional
• Code Compose Studio, dsp/BIOS,  DVSDK Knowledge is optional
Competencies Required：
• R&D design experience on embedded processors (arm, mips) and embedded OS (kernel/driver level) is a must.
• Good troubleshooting capability
• Driver for Results
• Sense of collaboration and teamwork, rewards and celebrates team successes and achievements
• 2+ work experience and Bachelor/Master degree in Elecrical Engineering
• Fluent English is mandatory
