SoC Program/Project Manager

Job Description:

• Take full responsibility for SoC project; leads project for design of ASIC/FPGA/related Software form specification to samples.
• Development of SoC on schedule, within budget, with full feature set and required quality.

Identifies resources needed and co-assigns individual responsibilities together with function manager.

• Creates, agrees and executes project work plans
• Revises and agrees project work plans appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Manages operational aspects of a project and scope on daily basis.
·
Reviews deliverables prepared by team for each NSN milestone.
·
Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
·
Owns risk management of project and minimizes project risk with appropriate countermeasures

Represents the project to SoC management and R&D Managers of BU’s
·
Reports project progress and issues on a regular time interval and escalates in case of problems.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor and Master in telecom domain is required
• Over 3 years working experience as project manager in telecom area
• International, multi site and multi discipline (HW & SW) project experience is a plus
• Technical background in Telecommunication systems (2G, 3G, Transport) is preferred.
• Broad skills in project management are required (incl. risk control, conflict control, time control and resource management).
• Familiar with MS Project and other mainstream MS-Office software

Job Description

• Participate in outlining System-on-Chip concept and architecture definition and derive the System-on-Chip functional and design specification for SoC (ASIC/FPGA) functionality level.
