DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES IN ADDITION TO THOSE IN JOB DESCRIPTION:

•
Participate in the design and implementation of our leading edge, front-to-back ASIC design flow

•
Work together with a small group of design methodology and flow automation engineers both in Shanghai as well as in North America to design AMD's next generation high end ASIC flows

•
Focus on flow development in the front end chip integration space

•
Design and implement the next generation flow as well as providing flow and tools expertise to teams worldwide

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

•
Master Degree of Micro-Electronics(ME) or Electrical Engineering (EE), or related

•
6 years experience with MS or 8 years + BS working in both chip design and software automation.

•
Programming experience and a desire to automate elegant and maintainable solutions is a must.

•
Experience in timing, physical design, or logic design is plus as you will interact frequently with members of logical and physical design teams
