Job Summary:

As a member of the XX WW Sales & Marketing team, we focus on satisfying our customers and overcoming their challenges by being experts in our segments. We strive to be proactive, collaborative, ethical, competitive, and accountable in all areas of our work.  XX is seeking a strong candidate for a Technical Sales/Account manager for the China key segment.  A top candidate will be responsible for managing accounts within the designated market, as well as working closely with segment and regional Field Application Engineers.


Performance Objectives:

Business Plan to Align with Sales Targets:

●      Develop a strategic business plan to align with growth targets defined for theChina key segment including Automotive&Industrial & Consumer and others.  

●      Focus on assigned accounts in the territory, as well as emerging markets/account, the technical sales/account manager will determine the best business plan to gain account base for emerging and start-up customers.  

●      Work to win and grow the accounts, once a robust account plan is established


Achieve sustainable and profitable revenue growth through demand creation:

●          Focus on establishing the processes, procedures, and orchestrating of resources that will drive revenue within assigned accounts(Account plan)

●          Develop sales & technical strategies by effectively utilizing local & corporate resources. Executing on these strategies, by simultaneously expanding the customer network and building new relationships. Identifies key decision makers within customer engineering, executive team, purchasing and establishes relationships.

●          Build up strong design pipeline and closely track the progress for new business, Leads / Performs War Room sessions for key projects identified at those customers w/ FAE

●          Be accountable for scorecard and deeply understand/penetrate into the customer to exceed the revenue target

●          Provides and maintains up to date and accurate visibility of the progression of opportunities in the customer so decisions and commitments can be made and met. This forecast will be delivered through XX’s Opportunity Management System.


Customer Delight:

●      Engage customers both directly and indirectly, to support XX’s demand creation and growth strategy, both locally and globally.

●      Build relationships with engineering and purchasing to be seen as a trusted advisor.  

●      Focus on overcoming customer’s challenges by gaining a deeper understanding of their systems and application needs.  

●      Communicate XX’s product portfolio and solicit meaningful inputs from the customer to enhance our portfolio.

●       Maintain relationships with our distribution partners to ensure proper fulfillment and support for the assigned account base.


Collaborate and work as a team:

●      Have a collaborative attitude for team results and work with many functions to drive business success.  

●      Recommend products that meet the requirements of the customer.

○      FAE, Quality and Sales Management Teams to provide technical support and manage customer’s challenges including component failure analysis requests, cost recovery, and general service complaints.

○       XX Supplier Quality Engineering to manage smooth implementation of PCN process changes.

○      XX Customer Service and Planning to ensure product delivery dates align with the expectations of the customer.


○      FAE, Product Line Marketing and Management to provide accurate, effective and timely acquisition of customers’ technical requirements, pricing targets, competitive offerings and device qualification requirements (PPAP)


Requirements:

●      5+ years of experience in Technical Sales in the Semiconductor industry, experience in Automotive, Industrial and Consumer preferred.

●      Good relationship with key account in the territory

●      BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.

●      Successful establishment of strategic business plans for penetration of target market segments.

●      Ability to offer customers a high value proposition and successful utilization of internal resources.

●      Knowledge of Sales tools/system for the collection and management of all account information is a plus.
