The MAIN release (Base/Production release) happens once in six months and is available to all customers. It includes all features and enhancements added to the tool in the AGILE7 releases added over the last ~six months when a full merge is taken to prepare for a major new version (Base release).  

The two Base releases are March (yy03) and September (yy09), and the HotFix releases for these MAIN releases are provided for one year.  
Base releases are labeled as s001. The March release was named 23.03.s001, and the September release will be named 23.09.s001.
Bugs are fixed in HotFix​es on top of the MAIN release every month on the two active MAIN release streams. The HotFix is named S002, S003, and henceforth until S012.  

An AGILE release is a monthly release available to selected customers and includes updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.

• An AGILE stream is the first place for submitting fixes for bugs, whether internal or external, raised on the main or legacy streams.
• AGILE releases cannot be provided directly. You can refer to the cadence download site (https://downloads.cadence.com) to download the latest MAIN and AGILE releases, but note that AGILE releases are only available to specific users.
• Not all users can see the AGILE releases in the InstallScape tool used to download the versions. Check with your CAD team if you have any access-related issues.
