请教yum适用的python

请教大家，我打算替换redhat5.5的yum源


安装了yum文件，对应的python是2.4.3，修改了centos_base.repo,


[root@qing]# rpm -qa | grep yum
yum-metadata-parser-1.1.2-3.el5.centos
yum-3.2.22-26.el5.centos
yum-fastestmirror-1.1.16-14.el5.centos.1


[root@qing]# python
Python 2.4.3 (#1, Sep  3 2009, 15:37:12)
[GCC 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-46)] on linux2

但是update的时候，说是python不配，请问python什么版本适用？


[root@qing]# yum -y update
