轻松访问国际化代工厂经济有效的PIC技术平台

Your easy access to cost effective PIC technology platform at an international foundry





上海微技术国际合作中心SIMTAC)即将联合国际知名的代工厂LioniX InternationalEDA设计软件PhoeniX Software, 共同举办基于TriPleX氮化硅光电多项目晶圆(MPW)服务的培训课程。TriPleX是一种众所周知的基于二氧化硅(SiO2)和氮化硅(Si3N4)交替层的波导技术平台。该技术非常适合制造应用于传输/数据通信以及传感领域的组件。MPW服务为客户提供一种经济有效的方式去轻松访问这个关键的光子集成回路(PIC)技术平台。此次培训为研究人员、工程师和研究生们提供了一个宝贵的机会去学习TriPleX技术并增长一些使用PhoeniX软件在此平台上设计组件/回路的经验。





Shanghai International Micro-Tech Affiliation Centre (SIMTAC) in collaboration with LioniX International and PhoeniX Software are organizing a training course on TriPleX

silicon nitride optoelectronic
Multi Projects Wafer (MPW) Services. TriPleX is a well-known waveguide technology platform based on alternating layers of SiO2 and Si3N4. The technology is suitable for manufacturing components for telecom/datacom as well as sensing applications. The MPW service provides a cost effective easy access to this key photonics integrated circuit technology platform. The training is a precious opportunity for researchers, engineers and graduate students to learn about the TriPleX technology and gain hand-on experience on designing components in this platform using PhoeniX software.

Trainer biography


Dr. Sami Musa

Dr. Musa has a PhD in integrated optics from Twente University in the Netherlands. He has more than 15 years of experience in the photonics and semiconductor industry in Europe. Currently, he is technical director of photonics with SIMTAC.

Dr. Bowen Wang

Bowen Wang received the PhD degree from Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands, in 2011. After graduation he was in Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands, for two years as a researcher. Currently he works as a senior process design kit (PDK) developer in PhoeniX Software, The Netherlands. He specializes in the PDK development with different foundry and packaging technology, such as Si, InP and SiN.
