1.  Lead Software Engineer / Software Engineer II -- Spectre XPS Product(Req:13736)

      Position Description:     

Ø
Thisis a software engineer position for Cadence Spectre XPS product. Spectre XPS isa new fastSPICE simulator which delivers up to 10X faster simulationthroughput, and has high visibility among the company. The Beijing team isplaying a critical role in the rapid development of Spectre XPS. In thisposition you will need to design, implement and troubleshoot Spectre XPS. Youwill also need to understand customer requirements, define functionalspecifications, debug customer cases and investigate simulation algorithms. Youshould be able to work independently and communicate with colleagues andcustomers.

       PositionRequirements:

Ø
PhDmajored in CS/EE or related, or MS with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Ø
StrongC/C++ programming skills under Linux/Unix environment.

Ø
Solidunderstanding of data structures and algorithms; understanding of graph andnumerical algorithms is a plus.

Ø
Knowledgeon semiconductor devices and circuits and SPICE simulators is a strong plus.

Ø
Goodproblem solving skills and strong desire to learn new techniques.

Ø
GoodEnglish communication skills both verbally and writing.

2. Lead Software Engineer / Software Engineer II for RF simulator(Req#:11971, 13829)

  

      PositionDescription:

Ø
Theposition is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining softwareand algorithms related to advanced

analysis and simulationtools used in the development of VLSI circuits and RF communication systems.The engineer will be responsible for leading multiple development effortsthrough the complete design cycle and working with a cross-functional team toensure the software is tested, integrated and documented.

  

      PositionRequirements:

Skilledin C++ programming, familiar with development under Linux/Unix environment;

Theposition is for Analog circuit simulation engineer responsible for designing,implementing and maintaining SPICE-like circuit simulation software. Theengineer will be responsible for leading multiple development efforts throughthe development process, including writing specifications, designing andimplementing product improvements and fixes. The engineer must have a provenability to learn from work and work with a cross-functional team to deliverinnovative products.

Ø Strongbackground in semiconductor and Device Physics, or device processing,electrical characterization, and device and circuit models.

Ø BasicC/C++ programming skill.

Ø Knowledgein circuit analysis and simulation tools is a plus.
