Job Title: MIPI IP CAE

Requisition Description :

As a member of theCorporate Applications Engineer (CAE) team in the Solutions Group at Synopsys,you will be responsible for technical support of customer using SynopsysDesignWare digital MIPI IP (CSI, DSI, DigRF).

You will be interfacing with our DesignEngineering team to report on any issues related to the IP design, reliabilityand maintenance or defects. You will be involved in customer installation,training and on-site supporting. You will have the capability to design andimplement solutions to complex applications problems independently with littleguidance. You will be authoring application-notes and/or white-papers thatpromote the IP's ease of use, or address specific challenges in the IP's usageYou may be called upon to author technical papers and present them inpeer-reviewed technical publications or conferences. You will have regularcontact with external customers and internal contacts across cross-functionalteams.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of related experience isrequired.

Overall understanding of the asic designprocess is required.

Strong communication skills and ability tointeract with customers as well as peers is required.

Domain knowledge of the MIPI/HDMI Protocolwith relevant experience (specifications, compliance and interoperabilityrequirements, design/verification experience etc.) will be a definite plus.

Knowledge of competitive EDA tool products andproduct knowledge in the areas of Synthesis, Simulation, STA, Verification,Testability, Place and Route, Design Reuse and/or Physical Design is highlydesired.

Must be proficient with Unix and verilog hdl,tcl/Perl is plus.

Debug and trouble shooting skills are highlydesirable. Occasional travel will be required.
