Overview: Fast Platform Modelingteam is seeking an experienced system-software developer to join a newly formedteam in SRDC. Fast Platform Models simulate software visible behavior of AMD’snext generation designs. They are designed to enable pre-silicon development ofsystem and application software and facilitate hybrid, performance and powermodeling.
Requirements:
- B.S or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Understanding of 3D graphics architecture, including shaders, shadinglanguages and rendering techniques.
- Experience in application and system software development in C++ in Windowsand/or Linux environments.
- Experience developing or debugging Windows and/or Android graphics driverswould be plus.
- Experience with functional or performance modeling and analysis will be aplus.
- Experience with OpenCL or other general purpose compute runtimes will be aplus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural models of Graphics core and other IPs such asmultimedia etc.
- Develop functional test plan and tests for SW visible Graphics architecturefeatures.
- Work with emulation and performance modeling teams on hybrid models.
