Overview
We are supporting a fabless semiconductor company who is developing the world’s most energy efficient integrated circuits for electronic devices with multi-month, multi-year, and multi-decade battery lives.  Using technology originally, we are developing a series of ultra-low power products on our patented Platform.  The company’s first product is the world’s most energy-efficient real-time clock and has gained significant customer traction to date.  The company’s next product will be the first in a line of ultra-low power ARM Cortex-based microcontrollers. Key markets include wearables, smart cards, wireless sensors, watches, medical devices, and a wide variety of other wireless devices. We have adopted a customer-focused approach and will evolve its product line according to the needs of customers seeking to develop smaller, less expensive products with longer battery life.

Position 1:  Sr.  Application Engineer

Scope and Responsibilities
•        Develop and support complete ultra-low power solutions including schematics, layout guidelines, embedded firmware, power profiles, application code and documentation
•        Understanding of the detailed system power profiles for wearable, hearable, and smart home applications
•        Develop and present technical product and solution training to the field, partners, and customers
•        Provide global on-site technical customer support 
•        Support trade show demonstration development, bring-up, and operation
•        Compose application notes, knowledge base articles, and reference solution collateral
•        Perform detailed power measurements on smart watch, tracking devices, headphones, truly wireless earbuds, and other battery-operated devices to position for new design wins
•        Answer customer inquiries through the online support ticket system
•        Effective and clear communication across time zones, languages, and cultures

Experience Required
•        Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, embedded software programming, or similar
•        5 years of experience in programming and system design using 32-bit ARM-based microcontrollers; DSP experience preferred
•        Expertise and experience in Bluetooth, BLE, and other RF communications standards
•        Knowledge of sensor processing, audio algorithms, keyword detection, voice assist, and other AI-based solutions
•        Fluent verbal and written English


Position 2:  Embedded Software Engineer

The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for developing, and supporting SDK for its family of ultra-low power MCUs. This person will be responsible for extending the board coverage (BSP) of the SDK to new platforms as well as enhancing its features and content. This person will be involved in the extension of the SDK to cover new MCU members of the family as they become available.

Specific Responsibilities:
•        Design, code, and test hardware abstraction layer (HAL) drivers for existing and new MCU devices.
•        Design, code, and test utilities and drivers for external devices (e.g., sensors, memories, displays).
•        Develop and execute unit test cases for various SDK components.
•        Assist in the root cause analysis of defects and/or power/performance issues.
•        Assist in the development of script based automation for the SDK components and packages.

Job Requirements:
•        MS in ECE or Computer Science and 3+ years of experience or BS ECE/CS with 5+ years of experience
•        Experience developing embedded MCU code in C and assembly language required
•        Experience developing firmware for Arm Cortex M4F Processors or similar processors required
•        Experience with at least one MCU IDE from ARM, Keil, IAR, Eclipse or other
•        Experience with embedded RTOS required, FreeRTOS preferred
•        Experience working hands-on in the lab
•        Familiarity with source code control systems (git) required
•        Excellent problem solving skills dealing with complex system level issues related to HW/SW debug


Position 3:   BLE Software Engineer

We are looking for a BLE Software Engineer to take responsibility for developing, and supporting BLE Host Protocol Stack for ultra-low power MCUs. This person will be responsible for extending the offering with custom profiles, services, and HCI drivers for new platforms as well as enhancing existing features and content.  This person must be intimately familiar with Bluetooth technology include relevant recent experience with BLE 4.0/4.2 systems (BLE 5.0 is a plus).  This person will create of custom BLE profile examples using a combination of standard and custom services.  They will help to optimize BLE applications and Host Protocol stack configurations and analyze customer defects across the RF, HW, and SW disciplines.


Job Requirements
•        BS in ECE or Computer Science and 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years with Bluetooth Low Energy technologies.
•        Experience developing embedded MCU code in C and assembly language required.
•        Experience with all layers of the BLE Protocol including GATT, ATT, SMP, L2CAP, LL, and PHY.
•        Familiarity with the standard HCI protocol and vendor specific extensions.
•        Experience developing firmware for Arm Cortex M4F Processors or similar processors preferred
•        Experience with at least one MCU IDE from ARM, Keil, IAR, Eclipse or other.
•        Experience with embedded RTOS required, FreeRTOS preferred.
•        Experience working hands-on in the lab.
