If you want some one to analyze why you have failed to patch your version of Mentor's. You have to specify:
1. how you used the patchier.
2. what the contents of the patch file.
3. what errors occur.
4. why you deem that it's a problem from the path procedure.
5. have you any experience to patch some tools, either from CDS or MGS?
6. etc.
